Each glaze is so strikingly different that "Exotic" is the only word that adequately describes them. Their pattern development will depend upon many variables and as a result no two pieces will look exactly alike. The shape of the object, application, the firing temperature, the kiln load, and the firing time all affect the flow patterns of these glazes. Some shift from gloss to matte to develop a frosted look; some produce a flow of two, three or more colors; other contain specks.
