With the AMACO® Electric Clay Extruder, moist clay is quickly and thoroughly mixed and blended for throwing, sculpturing and jiggering as well as for extrusion of special shapes like those used in industry. When used for reclaiming hardened clay, the clay should be broken into small pieces and soaked in water to moisten before extruding.
Fast cutting, mixing and wedging action is assured by two auger blades driven by a direct drive 1/3 HP 115 Volt AC gear motor with 6 foot (3 wire grounded) cord. Interchangeable dies supplied are 1 1/2" rod, 1 1/2" O. D. tube (3/16" wall thickness), 1/4" x 1" ribbon.
