Excel kilns include many features that are extra on other round or multi-sided kilns. The refractory lids are sealed to prevent brick dust from falling into the kiln while also prolonging the life of the lid. In addition, the lid and bottom slabs are reversible, further extending the life of the kiln. Each section has two long lasting elements for more uniform heat radiation while offering more options for placing shelves. Firing chamber dimensions: 23 3/8" diameter x 27" deep--7.0 Cubic feet.
